About The Position

The Resort Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging guest activities and experiences at Sutton Place Hotel and Revelstoke Mountain Resort. This role enhances the overall guest experience by creating memorable programming for all ages, while promoting resort offerings and maintaining high standards of service and safety. This is a new role, this individual will be responsible to build the programming from scratch with the support of the operations team.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, events, or guest services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, outgoing personality with a passion for guest engagement
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

First Aid certification considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of Revelstoke area and activities is an asset

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute daily and weekly guest activities and events
Act as a host for activities, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment
Promote resort amenities, events, and local experiences to guests
Coordinate with departments (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Ski School, etc.) for programming support
Set up, manage, and tear down activity spaces and equipment
Maintain activity schedules, attendance records, and feedback logs
Ensure all activities follow safety guidelines and company standards
Provide exceptional guest service and handle inquiries or concerns professionally
