About The Position
The Spot Welder is responsible for the operation of spot weld machinery for the organization. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Requirements
- Reading, writing and verbal communication
- Initiative & Safety Conscious
- Mathematical/Geometry Skills
- Time Management
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years of factory/manufacturing experience with similar equipment
- Welding Certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Use of Spot Welding machinery to weld components to fabricate scale parts and accessories, as instructed.
- Must read and clearly understand blueprints or other written documents, as well as verbal fabrication instructions.
- Use of fixtures or jugs, as required.
- Responsible for machine setups and welds, including weld quality.
- Verification that finished work is in conformance.
