About The Position

The Manufacturing Spot Welder position requires individuals to read and interpret work instructions, inspect their own and others' work for defects, and report any deviations from standard practices. The role involves working with components with moderately close tolerances and differentiating between parts. Compliance with all company and industry process safety procedures is mandatory. This position is open on all three shifts and requires availability for overtime as needed. Employees must be willing to rotate between different jobs, maintain an acceptable work pace, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The job involves standing for 90% of the time and walking for 10%, with bending, reaching, and twisting. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of one's own product, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and using basic hand tools like box cutters. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, reliable team player who is dependable and punctual, capable of working with minimum supervision and learning new skills.

Requirements

• Self-motivated reliable team player.
• Must be willing to rotate on different jobs
• Must be able to lift automotive parts up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, twisting, and standing (90%) walk (10%)
• Must be able to work 60 hr schedule, plus mandatory overtime as required per production needs.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow work instructions and verbal instructions.
• Inspect his/her and others work for defects using the final inspection sheets.
• Reports problems where the ability to recognize deviation from standard practices and processes.
• Be able to work with components with moderately close tolerances, and to differentiate one part from another.
• Comply with all company and industry process safety procedures and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Be able to maintain an acceptable work pace throughout the day.
• Responsible for his/her own quality of product
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
