About The Position
This utility position is responsible for offloading resins from railcars and bulk trucks into storage silos. The role also involves cleaning the angel hair traps of each silo daily and cleaning up any spilled resin both inside and outside the silos.
Requirements
- Ability to do simple math (Addition, Subtraction, Simple division).
- Ability to drag the resin pump hose, up and down the rail side.
- Ability to read resin pump instruments.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
Responsibilities
- Take railcar inventory at 7:00 am each day and deliver to purchasing via email or in person.
- Operate all resin pumps proficiently.
- Interpret all resin codes.
- Read all pumping orders and pump resins into the defined silo in accordance with the pump order instructions.
- Ensure the pump is always pumping properly and have a second verification process.
- Ensure resin is pumping whenever space is available in a silo.
- Inspect and clean angel hair traps in the bottom of the bank of silos.
- Clean up spills from the bottoms of silos and properly store the cleaned-up resin.
- Help bale scrap when directed.
- Help clean up on the production floor when directed.
- Conform to PPE requirements and Safety Rules.
