Role Description: Arcadis is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Growth Lead to join our Resilience Water Team, with a focus on driving growth across the western United States, reporting directly to the US Resilience Water Growth Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and strategic professional to advance their career with one of the nation’s leading full-service engineering consulting firms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in municipal water, recycled water, wastewater, stormwater planning and engineering, resilience, and climate adaptation - paired with a strong track record in client relationship management and business development in the West Region. This role will be instrumental in expanding Arcadis’ portfolio of high-impact projects and shaping our growing influence across the region and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 15 years’ experience in the water/wastewater municipal utility market
  • Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of positioning, pursuing, and winning projects in the municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater sectors.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional/area leadership, practice leadership, and local technical experts to identify, pursue, and secure strategic project opportunities, while ensuring exceptional client service and delivery.
  • Lead and expand client account teams across the southwest, cultivating strong relationships with municipal and regional clients to drive business growth.
  • Champion market development efforts by identifying emerging opportunities and leveraging Arcadis’ multidisciplinary capabilities to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Build and lead high-performing account teams, while mentoring junior and mid-level staff to support their professional growth and strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date pipeline of business development opportunities to support strategic decision-making and revenue forecasting.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by delivering customized, value-driven solutions, and overseeing the development of compelling proposals and successful interview presentations.
  • Travel regularly within the region to meet with clients, support project pursuits, and represent Arcadis at key industry events.
  • play a key role in staff development, fostering cross-functional collaboration across Arcadis' business lines, managing complex negotiations with clients, partnering teams, and subcontractors.

  • The salary range for this position is $182,293 - $251,564.
