Residential Youth Care Specialist - Overnights
About The Position
As a PMIC Youth Care Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities would include teaching daily life skills, implementing treatment plans, and providing direct supervision and support to youth. In short, our Youth Care Specialists help create a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment while mentoring and modeling positive behaviors for children and teens in residential care. CSI is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Able to manage crisis situations and maintain therapeutic relationships
- Skilled in teamwork, documentation, and communication
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- Experienced in child care, youth services, or related fields
- Experience with emotionally or behaviorally challenged youth
- Training in CPR, first aid, or Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
- Leadership or mentoring experience with staff or youth
