About The Position

Merakey is seeking a PRN Residential Worker to join their Adult Behavioral Health team in Carlisle, PA. This role provides for the safety, welfare, and supports the mental and physical well-being of individuals in a community residential rehab (CRR) setting. The position involves carrying out direct care responsibilities and participating in the treatment planning process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have an active and valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Experience in Human Services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time.
• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment, medical appointments, or any other appropriate activities.
