About The Position

Residential Workers are essential to promoting the safety, stability, and overall well-being of individuals diagnosed with mental illness living in a Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) setting. They provide direct care and support, addressing both mental and physical health needs, while actively participating in the treatment planning process as part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have an active and unrestricted driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities and other special projects designed to increase skills in independent and community living, socialization/leisure time.
• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment medical or any other appropriate reasons.
• Transport residents using a company vehicle as needed.
