About The Position

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is seeking a full-time Residential Treatment Specialist for the Keystone Group Home. This role involves providing comprehensive, whole-person services to clients residing in Northwest Group Homes. Responsibilities include conducting 1:1 meetings, offering case management assistance, facilitating community support groups, and implementing evidence-informed interventions focused on behavioral, emotional, and social skill development. The specialist will assist clients in achieving their goals, collaborate with internal and external treatment professionals, and work with community partners.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation and review required.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards required.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining collaborative community partnerships required.
  • Clinically trained and experienced using best practices required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Background check clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in a social service field preferred.
  • LPC/LCPS or LSW/LCSW preferred.
  • If masters-level, work toward clinical licensure.
  • Experience working with a variety of client ages, issues, and symptoms preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency preferred.
  • Access to reliable transportation preferred.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide whole-person services to clients residing in Northwest Group Homes.
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with clients.
  • Provide case management assistance.
  • Facilitate community support individual and community support group sessions.
  • Utilize evidence-informed interventions targeting behavioral, emotional, and social skill building.
  • Assist clients in achieving their stated goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external treatment professionals and community partners.
  • Meet or exceed revenue productivity targets (Day Shift: 67.5% productivity (27 billable hours/week); Night Shift: 37.5% productivity (15 billable hours/week)).
  • Understand and follow all compliance rules regarding treatment services and contracts.
  • Collaborate with clients and/or colleagues to complete IM+CANS, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
  • Adhere to all timelines regarding documentation completion.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards of treatment, including NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individuals in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
