The Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full‑Time Residential Team Leader to join our Vineland, NJ residential team. This onsite position gives you the opportunity to support individuals in a structured, caring environment while working with a team that values compassion, collaboration, and integrity. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a mental health‑related field from an accredited institution
  • One year of experience in a residential mental health setting
  • Supervisory experience and the ability to both guide and support staff
  • Knowledge of community resources and local support agencies
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five‑year driving record that meets insurance and organizational standards
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to advocacy
  • A Background Check is required
  • Clear Five year driving record/abstract with ability to be insured by organizations carrier.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within our A+GRP Residential Group Home(s).
  • Ensure that staff follow DMHAS standards, maintain program quality, and provide residents with the support they need to move toward independence.
  • Gather and evaluate data for our Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete clinical documentation.
  • Offer direct services that help residents integrate into the community.
  • Work closely with treatment providers to advocate for residents and support recovery‑focused interventions.
  • Organize House council meetings.
  • Plan engaging activities.
  • Assist with emergency coverage or staffing needs across residential sites.
