About The Position

Northwestern Counseling & Support Services, Inc. is currently hiring for our Supported Independent Living Program (SILP), a residential program supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. We’re seeking a dedicated team member to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekend availability is essential.

Requirements

• Experience in residential programs or working with individuals with mental health challenges
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A warm, compassionate personality and a team-oriented mindset
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to transport clients

Responsibilities

• Fostering a therapeutic, supportive, and stable environment in both residential and community settings
• Providing person-centered, strength-based interventions tailored to individual needs
• Supporting daily living skills, including preparing and cooking meals
• Administering medications as directed
• Transporting clients to appointments and community activities
