Residential Supervisor
About The Position
Centerpoint is a 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) for emotionally disturbed adolescent males. The primary mission of Centerpoint is the treatment and rehabilitation of adolescent males with mental illness and challenging behaviors. Centerpoint provides a secure, clinically intensive residential program that enhances growth and coping skills. The program’s ultimate goal is to enable each resident to attain optimal psychological and social growth; to transition to a less restrictive setting and eventually into the greater community. The ideal candidate will love working with adolescents, be energetic, positive, disciplined, have excellent boundaries and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Residential Counselor, you will take pride in working with a team who strives to make every day a little bit better for a group of adolescents while ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
- Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
- Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
- Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities
- Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedure while on site, and also through rotating on call coverage
- Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
- Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- Support staff and programming through your knowledge of the policies and procedures of Centerpoint's Residential Department.
- Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
