About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Residential Supervisor to become part of our dedicated team at Berkshire Meadows! Our program offers services within a residential, special education, and day habilitation setting to children and adults with severe developmental disabilities, including substantial cognitive, physical, and medical disabilities.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
• Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Nice To Haves

• Speak a second language fluently, other than English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedures while on site, and also through rotating on call coverage.
• Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
• Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• Support staff and programming through your knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Walden’s Residential Department.
• Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students.
