About The Position

Residential Supervisor (IDD Support) at Opportunity Foundation. This role involves leading a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in a residential group home setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Residential Supervisor works under the direction of the Program Manager to oversee daily operations, provide direct support to residents, and ensure high-quality, person-centered care. The philosophy is to promote independence, choice, and community inclusion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Oregon driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Proof of personal automobile insurance
  • Ability to pass Oregon criminal background investigations
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to meet and maintain Oregon Core Competencies
  • Ability to obtain Oregon Intervention System (OIS) certification and Individual Focus (IF) training, as required
  • Complete 12 hours of job-related in-service training annually

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals.
  • Assist the Program Manager with staff scheduling and shift coverage.
  • Model professionalism, teamwork, and ethical work practices.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring staff.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.
  • Support residents in achieving their personal goals while encouraging independence.
  • Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
  • Administer medications and medical procedures as prescribed.
  • Transport residents safely to appointments, community activities, and other destinations.
  • Attend resident meetings and intake meetings as needed.
  • Ensure resident records, documentation, case notes, incident reports, and Therap documentation are accurate and completed on time.
  • Assist with Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Functional Assessments, Behavior Support Plans, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules, state regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
  • Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
  • Assist with supply ordering when needed.
  • Participate in required staff meetings and annual training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
