About The Position

Intercept Health is seeking a Residential Specialist to serve as a positive role model for residents. This role contributes to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans and works via role modeling to develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents. Intercept Health is a family-owned agency with over 650 colleagues and more than thirty services across Virginia, dedicated to meeting the unique needs of youth and their families.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services OR An Associate's Degree and at least three months experience working with adults with substance use disorders OR A High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with adults with substance use disorders; OR Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist for the State of Virginia or working towards obtaining Certification and maintain the requirements of a Peer Recovery Specialist per those guidelines.
