Residential Specialist (Overnight-PartTime)
About The Position
The Residential Specialist provides direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home environment, using a person-centered approach to help clients participate in daily life, make choices, and build independence. The role includes hands-on assistance with personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and undressing, mobility, and personal organization, as well as supporting individuals in reaching personal goals and maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment. This is an awake overnight position in Lakeside, scheduled Thursday through Saturday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The pay range is $20.00 to $20.65.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience using case management systems; Therap is preferred.
