About The Position

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Behavioral Health Shift Supervisor to join our Residential Treatment Facility team in Danville, PA. In this role, you will provide leadership and support in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment.

Requirements

• Associate degree or 60 college credits with relevant experience
• High school diploma/GED with significant related experience

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or residential settings
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
• Strong documentation and observation skills
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or shift lead experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all clients
• Provide shift leadership, oversight, and guidance to Residential Behavioral Health Technicians and direct care staff
• Support daily routines and structured programming
• Build professional, supportive relationships with youth
• Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
• Monitor behavior and communicate concerns to clinical staff
• Facilitate recreational, life skills, and community activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Ensure proper supervision ratios at all times
• Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and leadership teams
• Assist with transportation and off-site activities
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations
