The Residential Services Coordinator (RSC) is a supervisory/management position responsible for the daily management, coordination, and oversight of assigned residential homes and services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The RSC reports directly to the Director of Programs and has direct supervisory responsibility for assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The RSC is responsible for DSP scheduling, supervision, coaching, performance monitoring, documentation oversight, residential operations, individual services and programs, health and safety practices, and implementation of person-centered services and supports. The RSC ensures residential services are provided safely, consistently, respectfully, and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, applicable Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) requirements, ICF/IID requirements, applicable IDD program requirements, and federal and state regulations. The RSC serves as the primary supervisory link between DSPs and the Director of Programs and works collaboratively with nursing and clinical personnel, Human Resources, administration, individuals receiving services, families/guardians, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
