About The Position

HANSONS is seeking a hands-on Residential Service Technician to travel throughout Metro Detroit helping homeowners with window, bath, and other home improvement projects. This role involves performing residential service and warranty appointments, including minor repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting related to windows, screens, locks, hardware, weatherstripping, and caulking. Technicians will be responsible for recording measurements, photos, and notes on a company-issued iPad. While window experience is a plus, it is not a requirement; the company provides training for those with a strong aptitude for using a tape measure and basic tools, and experience in installation, repair, maintenance, or fixing things.

Requirements

• Confident using a tape measure accurately
• Hands-on installation, maintenance, service, construction or repair experience
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn — we provide the training
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
