About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Residential Service Electrician. The role involves installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential buildings. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and codes, troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, collaborating with clients and team members, and ensuring safety compliance. The electrician will also be responsible for procuring customer payments and submitting required documentation. Continuous learning about industry developments and code changes is expected.

Requirements

Valid electrician license (or equivalent experience, depending on state requirements)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential buildings, including wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Interpret and follow blueprints, electrical codes, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify faults in wiring, circuits, and equipment to determine the appropriate course of action.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and other team members to discuss project requirements and coordinate electrical installations and repairs.
Safely use a variety of tools and equipment, such as power drills, wire cutters, multimeters, and conduit benders.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that work is conducted in a safe manner and that appropriate protective measures are taken.
Keep abreast of industry developments, electrical code changes, and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Procure customer payment.
Submit required documents, photos, etc either electronically or hard copy.
Drive Company vehicle to Company assigned locations to obtain required parts and materials.
