The role of a Residential Service Electrician is to deliver exceptional Electrical service maintenance on electrical systems and to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of Hutton’s values. Vets to Techs: You served your country and are ready to transition to the trades. Your G.I. bill covers your training, tools and lab time for a 4 week boot camp style training at an off site training facility in Nashville. Requirements

Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the Electrical industry.
Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field to ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.
Must be team-oriented
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Apprenticeship Certification Preferred but not required
Journeyman License Preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.
Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule

Responsibilities

Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, panels, etc..
Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers’ homes, apartments, and businesses
Coordinate with utility service providers and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times
Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried
