Requirements
- Generac Certification (Required)
- Licensed Electrician or equivalent electrical experience (depending on state requirements)
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and installation plans
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
Nice To Haves
- Experience installing or servicing standby generators preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills
Responsibilities
- Install Generac standby generators in residential and light commercial environments
- Perform electrical connections, wiring, and system testing for generator installations
- Troubleshoot and repair generator systems as needed
- Ensure installations meet local electrical codes and safety standards
- Coordinate with install teams and project managers to complete jobs efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site
- Maintain accurate job documentation and installation reports
- Support service and maintenance work on existing generator systems when needed
