About The Position

This position will serve as a shift supervisor on the Residential Security Officer Contract, which provides a security force to protect the residences of multiple US Government officials. The incumbent will provide direct oversight of, and support to, the residential security officers on each of the staffed posts.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of supervisory experience in either a law enforcement, military, or armed security environment in a similar role.
  • A minimum of five years of law enforcement, military or armed security experience.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of leadership.
  • US Citizen with a Social Security Card.
  • Minimum 21 years old.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Required to pass a public trust background investigation conducted by the client and the decision of the client as to the adjudication is final.
  • Will be required to pass a Physical Agility Test, a firearms qualification practical exercise and a medical evaluation.
  • Undergo a criminal background check processed by the Government.
  • Be free from conviction of any felony.
  • Be free from conviction of any misdemeanor crime of domestic violence in accordance with United States Code, Title 18 S.C. § 922(g)(9) (Lautenberg).
  • Be free from any convictions for Driving under the Influence in the past three years prior to application.
  • In the case of military service, any separation must have been under honorable conditions.
  • Successfully pass all physical fitness requirements.
  • Possess a solid work history without any significant infractions or discipline.
  • Meet or exceed all position requirements listed in the Statement of Work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager (PM) by providing supervision of and support to the Residential Security Officers (RSO) who provide 24/7/365 protection at the residences of multiple Tier I US Government officials.
  • Assist with scheduling officers in advance of their weekly work assignments and find staffing in the event of call-offs.
  • Respond to incidents when available and provide on the scene support and guidance to the RSO workforce.
  • Address minor issues involving improper uniforms, equipment appearance, and timeliness.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the client on matters relating to the current operations of the security force in the absence of the PM.
  • Other duties as assigned.
