About The Position

The Residential Security Team Agent is tasked with numerous functions by providing support to a protective security detail near Orange County, CA. This detail operates in a dynamic, multi-faceted, and fast paced environment.

Requirements

2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positions.
Prior residential and/or fixed site security experience.
Physically fit to facilitate emergency responses.
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child & Infant certification.
California BSIS Guard Card.
California BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit with 9mm endorsement
All certifications must be current. Employees are responsible for keeping all certifications/licenses active

Nice To Haves

Proficient in the use of social media collection tools in support of protective intelligence.
Training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance/surveillance detection, covert protection and basic medical support experience.
Prior training course(s) in residential security or executive protection.
Prior attendance of a recognized EP school (i.e., ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT)
Advanced emergency medical certification – Active First Responder, EMT or paramedic.
Customer service experience.
Experience working with children.
Regularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
Maintain a knowledge of baseline properties and neighborhood activities.
Monitor property and area activities and conditions via vehicle perimeter checks.
Investigate suspicious people.
Collaborate with other Keelson and client teams to control access to properties and maintenance of security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
Ensure 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep.
Operate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable laws.
Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment (i.e., vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.).
Must possess the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stay vigilant sitting in a vehicle for extended periods of time.
Must be a proactive problem solver with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps (Google Drive, Word, Excel & Power Point).
Must keep a professional appearance, have good personal hygiene.
Must be responsive via phone call, text, and email as needed to support the team.

Benefits

Minimum compensation of $95,000.00 per year
Shift length 12 hours/day
Schedule is 4 days on and 3 days off, then 3 days on and 4 days off
Pay structure per shift includes built-in overtime and double-time in accordance with California and federal laws
