About The Position

steveworks is a worker-owned, design-build, residential remodeling company seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the client, design team, and field crew (including subcontractors) for each project. This role is responsible for overseeing all project aspects from inception to completion, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant residential remodeling and construction management experience
  • Effective communication skills with clients, crew, subcontractors and management
  • Experience managing multiple (2-4) concurrent jobs at different stages of production
  • Experience running a crew, scheduling subs, and standing inspections
  • Proficient with written communication, spreadsheets, construction management software and other technologies required for communication and tracking projects.
  • Effective problem solving and ability to plan ahead
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of principles of sustainability and building science such as advanced framing, air sealing, water management, and weatherization techniques
  • Track record of running a safe, clean, efficient job site
  • Ability to lead a job site team that is cohesive, mutually respectful, and works well together
