About The Position

Collaborate with the client through the planning process, develop unique, innovative remodeling solutions, and prepare clear, accurate documentation for Production. This role involves meeting with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and investment levels, developing creative design concepts and detailed work scopes that align with client goals, and documenting existing site conditions accurately. The designer will also collaborate with Estimators, Architects, Mosby Sales Consultants, and Project Managers to ensure project success, present and assist Sales Consultants in selling Design and Construction Agreements, and provide superior customer service to build long-term client relationships. Participation in seminars, webinars, and other company events may be requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Interior Design or Architecture
• Minimum of 3 years working one-on-one with clients to determine their design needs, budget, material selections, and executing sales contracts
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CAD Programs
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at a time
• Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
• Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use for client appointments around the St. Louis & Southern Illinois area
• Ability to work nights and weekends if needed
• Physically able to sit and stand for long periods of time & carry/move up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in Residential Design preferred
• Chief Architect program is a plus
• Prior working relationships with vendors and subcontractors is a plus
