About The Position

The B. F. Saul Company is seeking a passionate and experienced Residential Property General Manager for its luxury property, Hampden House, in Bethesda, Maryland. This role involves overseeing all resident services, community operations, and lease-up initiatives for a luxury class A hi-rise property. The General Manager will be responsible for managing staff performance, ensuring resident satisfaction, and achieving financial success through effective sales team leadership, market analysis, budget control, and resident retention. The position requires engagement in all aspects of community operations, from implementing resident programs and services to achieving business goals and managing leasing files. A key responsibility includes developing a deep understanding of the competitive market to make strategic pricing and marketing recommendations. Additionally, the General Manager must ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years of relevant job experience.
  • Experience in hi-rise management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Landlord Tenant laws.
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA and OSHA.
  • Experience with luxury lease-up properties.
