About The Position

The Residential Program Director oversees residential services for the individuals supported by the organization. The role provides oversight of Program Coordinators, who supervise residential homes, and Residential Case Managers. The position is on-call and salaried, with primary hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; work outside those hours will often be necessary. The Director is expected to understand current and upcoming regulatory changes and promote a positive, organized, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a residential program with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to pass a drug screening, background check, and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential services for the individuals supported.
• Oversee Program Coordinators and Residential Case Managers.
• Manage or oversee scheduling, activity planning, individual planning, team processes, staffing oversight and concerns, monitoring individuals’ hours, and home licensing requirements.
• Learn and understand current and upcoming regulation changes.
• Promote a positive working environment emphasizing teamwork and organization.
