This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of residential plumbing experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, and move plumbing tools, equipment, and materials
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions including standing, kneeling, crouching, and lifting for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman Plumber license preferred but not required
- Trade school, apprenticeship, or community college plumbing training preferred
- Experience in residential service and repair plumbing
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Experience with tankless water heaters, water filtration systems, and sewer line repairs preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems and fixtures
- Service water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drains, and piping systems
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective repair solutions
- Perform drain cleaning, leak detection, and plumbing maintenance services
- Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify code or safety concerns
- Educate homeowners on repair options, system performance, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and job documentation
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company safety standards
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and safe working condition
- Respond to service calls and participate in on-call rotations as needed
- Deliver professional, courteous, and high-quality customer service on every visit
