Developmental Services Center (DSC) provides comprehensive services across the lifespan-from birth through adulthood-including family development, case management, employment, residential, respite, and community day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Champaign and Ford Counties. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of successful supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with individuals with IDD.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff, agency, and community personnel.
  • Ability to independently structure schedules, both personal and program, according to priority needs.
  • Ability to guide professional and para-professional staff to support individual and agency outcomes consistent with DSC’s Mission.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Access to reliable, insured transportation and ability to drive CILA vans.

Responsibilities

  • The Residential Manager (RM) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the CILA homes, service delivery and support to meet the needs of the individuals, and for providing a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • The RM is responsible to ensure compliance with the Home and Community Based Settings Rule to preserve the rights of each person.
  • A flexible schedule and on call responsibility supports individuals and staff in the 24-hour CILA program.
