About The Position
Arbors Management is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to handle hands-on repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across 2 residential communities located in Delmont, PA. This is a full-time role with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, plus rotating on-call coverage.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of proven intermediate experience in residential or commercial building maintenance trades.
- Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and laptops to navigate property management software for daily tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
- Must pass standard background checks and drug screenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work comfortably in varying physical positions throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and basic HVAC/appliance service.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, drywall repair, fixture updates, and mechanical checks.
- Utilize a smartphone and laptop daily to manage, update, and close out maintenance work orders digitally.
- Participate in a rotating schedule to provide coverage for off-hours, weekend, and holiday emergencies.
- Keep properties clean, safe, and curb-appealing; perform basic seasonal upkeep such as landscaping and snow clearing/salting.
