About The Position

Associated Heating & Air Conditioning is a local, family-owned business established in 1978. The Residential Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance on residential heating and cooling equipment and related systems. The role includes working at heights and in attics, under homes, and in crawl spaces, as well as working in varying environmental conditions. Pay is based on experience, typically $18–$25 per hour, with an available bonus averaging $3–$5 per hour. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with work at multiple locations.

Requirements

No formal experience is necessary.
Ability to use hand tools effectively.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
Punctuality and professionalism.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Self-motivated, honest, and ethical, with strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Comfortable setting up and working on ladders.
Ability to work at heights, in attics, under homes, and in small areas such as crawl spaces.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on residential gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning units, ductless mini-splits, ductwork, and related equipment.
Communicate with team members, read plans, and perform other related duties.
Comply with company and industry safety standards.
Participate in company-provided training.
