Residential Loan Processor
About The Position
The Residential Loan Processor is responsible for preparing real estate loan documents using LaserPro in accordance with BancFirst Loan Policy & Procedures and Compliance. This role involves inputting loan applications into DecisionPro, coordinating loan closings with title companies, obtaining all necessary loan documentation, and maintaining a pipeline report for all loans in process. The position also includes conducting loan closings for customers, assisting customers with various issues via phone and in person, and supporting loan officers and customers as needed. Other job-related duties and special projects may be assigned. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and duties may change at any time.
Requirements
- Experience in mortgage/real estate industry or equivalent.
- Knowledge of consumer real estate loan documents & regulatory requirements, financial documents, title, closing, or other related education is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications.
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters and meet deadlines.
- Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
- Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the department environment.
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of LaserPro loan documentation system.
- Knowledge of DecisionPro application system.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
