About The Position

The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing all closing documents on real estate loans, home equity and modifications in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations.

Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within Residential Loan Closing
• Proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Detail oriented
• Maintain a high level of integrity and accuracy
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills required
• Actively support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures
• Dynamic, sociable, and enthusiastic team players
• Possess a positive can-do, vibrant attitude
• Excellent judgment and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Types accurate closing documents.
• Submits closing fees to the title agency.
• Reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs.
• Prepares coupon books.
• Prepares funding wires/checks.
• Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar.
• Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file.
• Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup.
• Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner.
• Completes all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.
