This live-in position coordinates all aspects of the programs and services for the NYU Tulsa residential facility, encompassing both community development and administrative functions such as room selection, room changes, and semester transition. The role involves directly supervising student Peer Mentors, providing crisis intervention to residents, assessing problems, and resolving or referring them for resolution. It also includes conducting investigations of alleged policy violations, holding meetings, interviewing participants, determining the severity of violations, and adhering to University student conduct policy. The position is responsible for assigned after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties on a rotational basis to address student emergencies. The Residential Life Administrator advises students and collaborates with NYU Tulsa staff to foster a living and learning community that enriches the student experience. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing residential learning community programs and initiatives, and assisting with student development operations.
