Job Description: The Journeyman Install Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in accordance with local and national plumbing codes. This role requires a high level of skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or lead a small team of apprentices. The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of plumbing experience
  • Idaho Journeyman's license
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work

Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and maintain water supply, gas, and drainage systems in residential and light commercial settings
  • Perform installation of tankless water heaters, boilers, and related plumbing systems
  • Complete full re-pipes, remodel plumbing, and rough-in work for new construction and renovation projects
  • Install and service gas piping and gas distribution lines in compliance with applicable codes
  • Operate plumbing tools and equipment such as pipe threaders, soldering and brazing tools, and system installation equipment
  • Collaborate effectively with other trades, contractors, and project teams to meet construction timelines and project requirements
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Document work performed, materials used, and any recommendations for future service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site, including proper care of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company with integrity
