The Florida School for the Deaf and Blind (FSDB) is a state public school providing free educational services to eligible pre-K and K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind/visually impaired, or deafblind, including boarding and transportation. FSDB is recognized for its comprehensive educational services tailored to the unique communication and accessibility needs of students. The school also offers outreach programs for young children and their families. The Residential Instructor works within FSDB's Boarding Program, supervising and monitoring student behavior, promoting student development, and assisting with daily living skills. This role involves effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, and requires flexibility in scheduling and adapting to individual student needs. The instructor must comply with all school, department, and dorm policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment. This is a Career Service position for the 2026-2027 school year.
