About The Position

The Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems while providing an outstanding customer experience. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. As a Selling Technician, you'll have the opportunity to recommend solutions that improve customer comfort while earning an exceptional income through performance-based opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
  • HVAC Selling Technician experience preferred.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and daily schedules effectively.
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, package units, gas furnaces, and related equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential system concerns.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration issues.
  • Accurately document repairs, recommendations, parts used, and system conditions using company software.
  • Educate customers on system performance, repair options, indoor air quality solutions, and replacement opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at every customer location.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, EPA regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as required.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in a clean and organized manner.
