Residential HVAC Lead Installer

NearU, and Affiliate Regional HVAC BranchesSurfside Beach, SC
$22 - $30Onsite

About The Position

At Carolina Cool, we’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to install HVAC equipment. We’re looking for a seasoned Residential HVAC Lead Installer who knows how to own a job, lead a team, solve problems, and deliver work they’re proud to put their name on. As a Lead Installer, you’re the captain of the job site. From the moment the equipment arrives to the final homeowner walkthrough, you’ll take ownership of the installation and make sure the job gets done safely, efficiently, correctly, and to code. You’ll set the pace, keep the crew moving, coach your install helpers, and make sure every system is performing at its best. You’ll also be a key face of Carolina Cool in our customers’ homes, so professionalism and great communication matter just as much as technical skill. If you’re the person your teammates turn to when a job gets complicated, you take pride in clean, quality installations, and you’re ready to lead from the front — we want to meet you.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
  • Proven experience leading residential installation projects or crews

  • Experience coaching or training less-experienced installers
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • EPA Certification required
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, garages, rooftops, and outdoors in all kinds of weather
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to stay organized and productive while working independently
  • Pride in workmanship — you notice the details others miss
  • A positive, team-first attitude and the ability to keep your cool when the job gets hot

Responsibilities

  • Own residential HVAC installations from start to finish — replacements, change-outs, and new installations

  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and respectful of the customer’s home
  • Complete job documentation, photos, and paperwork accurately and on time
  • Troubleshoot issues in the field and find solutions without letting a curveball ruin the day
  • Represent the Carolina Cool brand with professionalism, confidence, and a great attitude

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Consistent year-round work + overtime opportunities
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Ongoing technical training and professional development
  • Real opportunities for career growth and advancement
