About The Position
Residential HVAC Installer Jetstream Mechanical is searching for an experienced Residential Lead HVAC Install Technician to serve the Washtenaw County, Michigan area. If you are searching for a full-time technician role near Ann Arbor, Michigan please let us know! Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair various makes and models of HVAC equipment. Refrigerant repairs and compressor replacements. Repair and maintain thermostats, air filters, blower fans, belts, and bearings. Maintain personal tools according to company guidelines. Have a commitment to a high level of customer service. Qualifications: EPA Universal certified. NATE certifications preferred. Customer service experience with strong people skills. Applicants must have a current driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record, must be insurable to drive to and from assigned jobs. Able to work in a team atmosphere. Former installation and boiler experience. Willingness to interface with clients and effectively communicate service/project outcomes and recommendations. Requirements: At least 2 years of experience desired as a lead. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings preferred. Applicants must have a current driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds. The physical ability to bend, squat, kneel, grasp, manipulate hand and power tools.
