About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HVAC installer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers a competitive salary, with potential earnings of $100,000 per year, and opportunities for experienced individuals to earn $150,000+ as team leads. You will be responsible for removing, installing, and starting up new HVAC systems, including ductwork. This position involves working with various departments to improve processes and information flow, providing excellent customer service, analyzing work orders, and proactively solving customer concerns. You will also be responsible for requesting necessary parts and equipment and ensuring the truck is properly loaded for each job. The role requires the ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs.

Requirements

  • At least two years of Residential HVAC installation experience and knowledge
  • Valid local driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Acceptable criminal background record
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools

  • Reliable attendance
  • Fluent ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
  • Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs

Responsibilities

  • Remove, install, and start-up new HVAC systems, including ductwork.
  • Work with several departments to continually improve the process and flow of information, as well as to provide timely and accurate installation.
  • Analyze work orders, provide excellent customer service, follow a daily travel schedule, listen to customer concerns, and proactively solve problems.
  • Request necessary parts and equipment in advance and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each installation job.
