About The Position

Seeking entry level candidates to assist lead duct cleaner with laying out, assembling, and cleaning all areas of residential HVAC installations. This includes ductwork, coils, blowers, and package systems, as well as gas piping, venting, and electrical components. The role requires a minimum of three years of field experience and a high school diploma or GED. Successful candidates will be able to effectively teach newer team members the trade and the Lee Company way. Key responsibilities include observing and planning duct cleanings on residential and light commercial systems (1-5 ton units), efficiently completing cleanings on multi-system homes or separate units in a single day, cleaning all types of hard metal dryer vents, replacing flexible dryer vents with hard metal, and replacing dryer vent terminations. The role also involves pulling and cleaning indoor blowers, chemically cleaning evaporator coils without removal, setting up and operating negative air duct cleaning machines, properly sealing duct connections and systems with mastic, and cutting in/installing supply boots, return grills, and performing minor duct repairs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of field experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Can effectively teach helpers or newer lead the trade and the Lee Company way
  • Observe and plan duct cleanings on residential and light commercial systems from 1 to 5-ton units
  • Effectively observe and plan to complete duct cleaning on 2 system homes in the same day with one crew
  • Effective observe and plan to completed duct cleaning on 2 separate units at 2 separate location from 1.5 to 3-ton duct systems
  • Effectively clean all types of hard metal dryer vents
  • Replace any flexible type dryer vents with 4 in hard metal
  • Replace dryer vent termination on outside of the house
  • Pull and clean indoor blowers
  • Chemically clean evaporator coils as needed without removing them from the system
  • Set up and operate negative air duct cleaning machine
  • Properly seal duct connections and duct systems with mastic
  • Properly cut in and install supply boots, return grills, and minor duct repairs as needed
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • At the time of hire, employees will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility.
