About The Position

The Residential Healthcare Administrative Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and practical support for all healthcare efforts within the Residential Treatment Units, including but not limited to the Intensive Treatment Units (ITUs), Monarch Boarding Academy (MBA), and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) programs. This position reports directly to the Nurse Administrator.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma required.
  • Possesses skill, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of their role; keeps knowledge up to date.

  • Experience in healthcare and previous strong interdisciplinary engagement and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Office of Healthcare Coordination department including, but not limited to, maintaining files, scanning documentation, answering the phone as necessary, appointment scheduling, obtaining prior authorizations, and ordering and maintaining medical/office supplies.
  • Assist with the communication between healthcare and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Review and answer correspondences regarding medical care for patients receiving residential treatment.
  • Create processes and maintain records for reporting, tracking, and compliance needs, including collection, input and reporting of data and other tracking/organizational duties as assigned.
  • Assist with staff onboarding, training and other departmental initiatives.
  • Ensure that all regulatory standards are maintained per Agency policies.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Projects as indicated.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
  • Keep all required training, certifications and licensures current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  • Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
