About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking dedicated Residential Rear Load Drivers (Garbage Truck Drivers) to join their team in Miami, FL. This full-time, year-round position involves operating a garbage truck on a specified route, requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. The role emphasizes safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, working approximately 50-55 hours per week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- At least 2 years of work experience with a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operating a garbage truck on a specified route.
- Safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.
