About The Position

The DH Pace Company, a family-owned and privately held business with annual sales over $1 billion through 60+ offices located across the continental United States, is an industry leader in the distribution, installation, maintenance, and repair of a complete range of commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking and security products. Overhead Door Company of Wichita™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire Residential Garage Door Technicians. We are hiring both experienced technicians and trainees. Candidates must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required. Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade may find this opportunity to be a great fit for their career. A $2,500 hiring bonus is available for candidates with verifiable industry experience in commercial door or entry door systems, and a $1,000 hiring bonus is available for candidates looking to start a new career path with no prior experience required, as training will be provided.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair a wide range of residential door and door hardware
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties
• Other duties as assigned
