Residential Field Specialist

CLEAResultDenver, CO
$26 - $40Onsite

About The Position

At CLEAResult, we lead the transition to a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future for our communities and our planet. We do that by creating a people-first culture built on trust, accountability, and transparency; where every employee – regardless of position, role, or identity is treated with respect and given an equal chance to thrive. Join our team as a Residential Field Specialist! This role acts as the local, on-site quality assurance representative for our residential energy efficiency programs. Rather than performing installations or audits, this person reviews and verifies completed audits and installations, mentors energy auditors and contractors in the field, and helps ensure work meets program standards. We’re looking for someone with hands-on trade or auditing experience who can work independently in the field.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of relevant industry experience, such as trade work (installation, estimating, HVAC, insulation, water heaters) or experience as an energy auditor/assessor.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential energy efficiency systems and audit practices.
  • Personable, professional communication skills, comfortable having direct conversations with homeowners and contractors.
  • Strong self-management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license with a cleaning driving background and have their own reliable transportation.
  • The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow and coach energy auditors in the field, reviewing audit setup and technique, and provide hands-on feedback to help them improve
  • Conduct project quality control (QC) visits to completed installation sites, verifying contractor work meets program standards
  • Communicate directly with contractors to flag issues and ensure corrections are made
  • Review and provide input on audit and project reports as part of ongoing quality assurance
  • Support contractor onboarding, including explaining program requirements and rebate submission processes
  • Manage contractor communication via phone and email, and schedule your own audit shadows and site visits
  • Work independently in the field with minimal day-to-day oversight after an initial onboarding period, managing your own schedule and appointments
  • Travel throughout the Denver metro area and periodically elsewhere in Colorado (e.g., Grand Junction, Pueblo, Fort Collins) on same-day trips; no overnight travel required
