This is a field based role around Southern New Jersey. A fleet vehicle will be provided. We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Residential Field Specialist. Acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, and recommends solutions.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years working as an Energy Auditor or related role
  • 21+ with clean valid drivers license
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
  • Meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations (if applicable)
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment

Nice To Haves

  • High school or Associates Degree w/relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
  • Current or Prior BPI certification

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend solutions
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and residential energy audits (on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database)
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues
  • Travel throughout a defined territory
