Horizon is seeking a Residential Facility Cook to prepare meals for patients and prep items for later service. The role involves attending to the appearance, quality, and proper portioning of all menu items, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and adhering to safe food handling procedures. The cook will also maintain documentation of temperatures, meal counts, and production sheets, project a positive attitude and customer service when interacting with patients, communicate effectively with coworkers and patients, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. A four-week cycle menu will be followed, with creative input for seasonal modifications.
