About The Position

I am hiring someone to help me with a personal project at my house and also at a commercial property if things go well at the house. I am selling my house and I need the house to look new. The house is 5000 sq ft. The baseboards need to be repainted, the walls need to be touched up, the garage needs to be repainted, the garage door needs to be repainted on the outside, the front and back porch need to be restained and sealed, the kitchen cabinets need to be touched up, new slides need to be installed on kitchen drawers, and stucco needs to be repaired in one spot. We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter! You are an experienced residential and/or commercial painter. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service. A positive attitude is a must!

Requirements

Extensive high quality experience in residential or commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair
have own tools
ability to work on your own
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
Strong communication and customer service skills
experience repairing stucco
experience staining concrete

Responsibilities

Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques
Interact professionally, evaluating requests, troubleshooting issues.
Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects
Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
Inspect paint jobs for quality
Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
keep work area clean and picked up daily
