About The Position

This Residential Energy Product Strategy Intern position focuses on Trade Strategy, Research coordination of 3rd party resources, and Program Satisfaction (PSAT). The intern will work with a team of energy product strategy experts to support overall residential product work, and will also own delivery and results for 1 to 3 key projects in the listed focus areas. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about how Xcel Energy offers its residential customers products and services that align customer energy needs with environmental targets and other Company objectives.

Requirements

• Current student, Junior or higher
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Construction Science, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Public Policy or related area.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week)/ part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting to the designated work location in-person, per our hybrid work policy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with data to support decision-making.
• Demonstrated leadership through coursework, student organizations, work experience, or community involvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and facilitation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
